IDEMICOGOLDY · Legal
Terms of Service
Effective date: July 16, 2026
1. Agreement and Scope
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and IDEMICOGOLDY. “Services” means the website and all digital education products made available through it, including beginner and advanced courses, standalone video lessons, downloadable charts, bead maps, color recipes, creative project instructions, membership content, critiques, and customer support.
Certain purchases may also be governed by the Online Course Terms, Payment and Billing Policy, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Digital Content Delivery and Access Policy, Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use Policy, Educational Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. When a product page contains specific terms that conflict with a general provision here, the product-page term controls only for that product.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract in your place of residence. The Services are intended for adults and for older students who use them with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian. The website is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create an account, submit personal information, or purchase Services.
You are responsible for providing accurate account and checkout information, maintaining the confidentiality of credentials, and all activity performed through your account. One enrollment is for one individual learner unless a product page expressly authorizes household, classroom, team, or gift access. Notify us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.
3. Description of the Services
IDEMICOGOLDY provides remote, self-paced craft education. Course pages identify the included lessons, patterns, projects, estimated duration, access period, feedback availability, and price. Unless expressly stated, enrollment does not include physical beads, tools, findings, thread, shipping, in-person instruction, professional certification, academic credit, or a guaranteed business result.
We may improve lesson sequencing, replace outdated supplier references, correct pattern errors, add captions, revise examples, or update technical delivery. Updates will not intentionally remove the core educational value of a paid offer during its stated access period.
4. Orders and Electronic Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected Service. An order is accepted when payment is authorized and a confirmation or access notice is issued. We may decline or cancel an order for suspected fraud, pricing or description errors, sanctions or legal restrictions, abusive conduct, technical duplication, or an inability to provide the Service. If we cancel after collecting payment, the affected amount will be returned to the original payment method.
Electronic confirmations, receipts, policy acceptances, and account records may be used to document the transaction. Keep your confirmation and use the same email address when requesting support.
5. Prices, Taxes, and Billing
Prices are displayed in United States dollars unless the checkout states otherwise. Applicable sales, use, value-added, goods-and-services, or similar taxes may be calculated based on billing information and legal requirements. Currency conversion fees or international card fees imposed by a bank are not charged or controlled by IDEMICOGOLDY.
Recurring memberships renew at the frequency shown at checkout until canceled. Billing rules, failed payments, promotions, and subscription cancellation are described in the Payment and Billing Policy.
6. License to Use Course Content
After successful purchase, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the included materials for your own learning and personal craft practice during the stated access period. You may print a reasonable number of copies of downloadable charts for your own use and may create physical jewelry from the taught patterns, subject to any product-specific commercial-use notice.
You do not receive ownership of videos, photographs, text, diagrams, charts, branding, software, course structure, instructor demonstrations, or other intellectual property. The license does not permit sharing an account, reposting files, recording lessons, distributing patterns, operating a class from our materials, reselling downloads, or making the materials available through a drive, group, marketplace, social channel, or file-sharing service.
7. Acceptable Conduct
You agree not to interfere with the website, bypass access controls, scrape or systematically download content, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, use false payment information, harass instructors or students, submit unlawful or infringing material, or use the Services to facilitate fraud or other unlawful conduct.
Feedback spaces must remain constructive and relevant to beadwork education. We may remove content or restrict participation where reasonably necessary to protect users, intellectual property, payment integrity, platform security, or the learning environment.
8. Student Submissions and Feedback
When you voluntarily submit photographs, questions, pattern tests, testimonials, or project notes, you retain ownership of your original submission. You grant IDEMICOGOLDY a limited license to host, reproduce, and display the submission as needed to provide feedback, operate support, and maintain your learning record. We will request separate permission before using identifiable student work in public advertising unless your submission was made through a feature that clearly states it is public.
You represent that you have the right to submit the material and that it does not violate another person’s privacy, copyright, trademark, or other rights. Instructor feedback is educational guidance and may involve subjective creative judgment.
9. Third-Party Platforms and Suppliers
The Services may rely on Shopify, payment processors, video hosting, email delivery, analytics, cloud storage, and other service providers. Supplier lists may mention independent bead or tool sellers. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A supplier reference is not a guarantee of stock, price, shipping time, color consistency, safety, or suitability.
We are not responsible for outages or decisions of third parties outside our reasonable control, but we will take commercially reasonable steps to restore access or provide an alternative when a material delivery problem affects a paid Service.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided for educational and informational purposes. Results vary with practice, materials, dexterity, equipment, time, and individual interpretation. We do not promise that every project will be completed without error, that a finished piece will be saleable, or that participation will produce income, employment, certification, or a particular artistic result.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IDEMICOGOLDY will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity, loss of data, or the cost of substitute materials arising from use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to a specific purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from intentional misconduct where applicable.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify IDEMICOGOLDY from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, infringement caused by content you submit, unauthorized distribution of course materials, or material violation of these Terms. This provision does not require indemnification for our own unlawful conduct.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, payment reversal, fraud, account sharing, abusive behavior, security threats, or infringement. When reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Immediate action may be taken where delay could cause harm, compromise security, or facilitate continued unauthorized distribution.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Ending an account does not automatically create a refund right. Provisions concerning payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations, dispute handling, and other terms that logically survive will remain effective.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law in your residence provides otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, each party agrees to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue through written support communication and to provide enough information for meaningful review.
Any court proceeding not subject to a mandatory local consumer forum will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Wyoming. You retain any non-waivable right to bring a claim in another forum required by applicable law.
15. Changes and Severability
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in Services, technology, law, or business operations. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, when appropriate, communicated through the website or account email. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights already earned under a completed purchase unless required by law or accepted by you.
If a provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of future enforcement. These Terms and incorporated policies are the complete agreement concerning the Services.
