IDEMICOGOLDY · Legal
Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: July 16, 2026
1. Ownership
IDEMICOGOLDY and its licensors own the website design, brand names, logos, course names, videos, photographs, audio, text, diagrams, charts, bead maps, color recipes, project instructions, downloads, software, databases, lesson sequence, and other original content, except for clearly identified third-party material and student-owned submissions. These works are protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, contract, and other laws.
Purchasing access does not transfer ownership. It provides only the limited license stated in the Terms of Service and this Policy.
2. Personal Learning License
A valid purchaser may view the included content, practice the techniques, keep personal notes, download files where a download is offered, and print a reasonable number of copies for personal project use. A student may show a personally made finished piece and may truthfully state that a technique was learned through IDEMICOGOLDY, provided the statement does not imply sponsorship, certification, or partnership.
3. Physical Jewelry and Small-Business Use
Unless a specific pattern says personal-use-only, students may sell physical jewelry they personally make using taught techniques. This limited permission applies to the finished physical object, not to the instructions or pattern itself. It does not authorize mass reproduction by a manufacturer, sale of kits containing copied instructions, teaching from our materials, or licensing the design to others.
Students remain responsible for product safety, labeling, metal and material disclosures, taxes, marketplace policies, third-party design rights, and local business requirements.
4. Prohibited Copying and Distribution
- Sharing an account, course link, password, or access token with another person.
- Uploading videos, PDFs, charts, screenshots, transcripts, or pattern files to social media, marketplaces, cloud folders, groups, forums, messaging channels, artificial-intelligence datasets, or file-sharing services.
- Selling, sublicensing, renting, gifting, or transferring digital course materials.
- Screen-recording, ripping, downloading through unauthorized tools, removing rights information, or bypassing access controls.
- Creating a competing course, tutorial, pattern set, workshop, or membership that substantially reproduces our protected expression, sequence, images, diagrams, or files.
- Using our materials as training input for a model, automated content generator, or dataset without express written permission.
5. Teaching and Group Use
A personal enrollment does not authorize teaching a class, running a workshop, projecting lessons to a group, distributing student copies, or using materials in a school, library, business, or paid community. Educators and organizations must obtain written permission or a separate license before group use. Permission may specify audience size, location, duration, attribution, and file controls.
6. Brand and Trademark Use
IDEMICOGOLDY, its logos, course titles, and visual identifiers may not be used in a business name, domain, username, product listing, advertisement, metadata, or packaging in a way that suggests affiliation, approval, or origin. Nominative reference to identify a course you took must be accurate, limited, and not more prominent than your own branding.
Do not copy the website’s overall presentation, distinctive graphics, or “Golden Thread” trade dress for a competing education or jewelry business.
7. Student Submissions
You retain copyright in original photographs, text, and designs you submit. By sending material for critique or support, you grant a limited, non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, annotate, and display it as necessary to provide the requested service and maintain the related record. Public promotional use of identifiable student work requires separate permission unless the submission feature clearly states it is public.
Do not submit another person’s pattern, photograph, logo, artwork, or private information without authorization.
8. Feedback and Suggestions
Suggestions about platform features, lesson topics, corrections, or service improvements may be used without an obligation to compensate you, provided we do not claim ownership of your preexisting protected work. A general idea, technique request, or error report does not give the submitter ownership of a later course or feature developed independently.
9. Acceptable Use of the Website
You may use the website only for lawful personal learning and legitimate transactions. You may not probe security, overwhelm systems, automate account creation, scrape content, manipulate reviews, submit malicious code, impersonate others, use stolen payment information, collect information about other students, or interfere with video, checkout, consent, or access controls.
10. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems
You may not use automated systems to extract, summarize at scale, reproduce, translate, transform, or generate derivative instructional products from protected course materials. Limited use of personal accessibility tools is permitted when it does not create or distribute a substitute copy. Contact support for an accessibility accommodation if a standard format is not usable.
11. Copyright Concerns
If you believe material on the website infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, provide a written notice identifying the work, the allegedly infringing material and its location, your contact information, a good-faith statement, a statement of accuracy and authority, and a physical or electronic signature. We may request clarification and may remove or restrict material while reviewing a sufficiently detailed notice.
Knowingly false infringement claims can cause harm and legal consequences. Consider whether permission, license, public domain, or a legal exception applies before submitting a notice.
12. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected infringement or abuse using access, download, transaction, and technical records. Remedies can include warning, file replacement, access restriction, account suspension, termination, removal of submitted content, cancellation of licenses, payment-provider response, preservation of evidence, or legal action. Enforcement will be proportionate to the circumstances and subject to applicable law.
Termination does not authorize continued possession or use of files obtained outside the surviving license.
13. Permissions
A request for classroom, publication, translation, media, partnership, wholesale instruction, or other use must describe the exact material, audience, distribution method, territory, duration, and commercial context. Permission is valid only when provided in writing by an authorized representative and may be conditioned on a license fee, attribution, security controls, or sample approval.
