Cookie Policy

Effective date: July 16, 2026

This Cookie Policy describes cookies and similar technologies that may be used on the IDEMICOGOLDY website and course experience. It explains why those technologies are used, the categories that may be present, and how you can control them without using email, telephone, or map links.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser when a website is visited. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage, and device identifiers. Some technologies operate only during a browsing session; others remain for a defined period or until deleted. First-party cookies are set for the website being visited, while third-party cookies are set by another service integrated into the website.

2. Strictly Necessary Technologies

Necessary technologies support core functions such as page navigation, shopping cart operation, checkout, account authentication, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, consent records, and preservation of selections. Because these functions are required to provide a requested service, necessary cookies generally cannot be disabled through a website preference panel. Blocking them in a browser may prevent checkout, login, downloads, or course access from working correctly.

3. Functional Technologies

Functional technologies may remember choices such as language, region, display preference, lesson position, or form information. They make the website easier to use but are not always essential. If they are disabled, some preferences may need to be selected again and certain personalized features may not operate as expected.

4. Analytics and Performance Technologies

Analytics technologies may help measure page visits, traffic sources, device types, course navigation, playback performance, errors, and aggregated engagement. The information helps us understand whether lessons load, which pages are useful, where visitors encounter problems, and how to improve accessibility and performance.

Where consent is required, non-essential analytics will be used only after the relevant choice is made. Analytics providers may process technical identifiers and usage information under their own service terms.

5. Advertising and Social Technologies

The website may use advertising, conversion measurement, or social-media technologies only if those tools are enabled. Such technologies can recognize a browser or device, measure whether an advertisement led to a visit or purchase, or support content sharing. IDEMICOGOLDY does not currently sell personal information for monetary payment and does not knowingly use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If advertising technologies are introduced or materially changed, the consent interface and this Policy will be updated as required.

6. Shopify and Service Providers

The website may be hosted through Shopify and may use payment, video, email, security, and analytics providers. These services can set or read technologies necessary to perform their functions. Cookie names and durations can change when providers update their systems, so a browser or consent panel may show the most current technical list.

7. Consent and Preference Controls

Where a consent banner or privacy preferences tool is available, you can use it to accept, reject, or adjust categories of non-essential technologies. A choice may be stored in a necessary cookie so the website remembers it. You can return to the privacy preferences tool when available to change a future choice.

Withdrawing consent does not make prior processing unlawful. It may take a short period for technologies to stop, and previously stored cookies may remain until deleted or expired.

8. Browser Controls

Most browsers allow you to view, delete, block, or limit cookies and site storage. Controls are usually available in privacy, security, or site settings. Browser settings apply to that browser and device; they may need to be repeated on other devices. Private browsing can reduce persistence but does not necessarily prevent all tracking or account records.

Blocking all cookies can affect cart, checkout, sign-in, video playback, downloads, progress tracking, and form submission.

9. Mobile and Device Controls

Mobile operating systems and applications may provide controls for advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, permissions, or stored website data. These controls are managed through the device or browser provider. Their effect depends on the technology and does not necessarily prevent processing that is required for security, transactions, or account access.

10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals, but there is no universally accepted standard for responding to every such signal. Where legally required and technically supported, we will process recognized opt-out preference signals, such as a qualifying Global Privacy Control signal, for the browser or device sending the signal. A signal may not apply to necessary technologies or to an authenticated account across different devices unless the law requires that result.

11. Cookie Duration

Session technologies usually expire when the browser closes. Persistent technologies can remain for days, months, or longer depending on purpose and provider settings. Necessary security or consent records may be retained long enough to prevent abuse and honor preferences. Analytics retention is configured according to operational need and applicable law.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this Policy when technologies, providers, consent requirements, or website functions change. The effective date will be updated. Material changes will be presented through the website or preference interface when appropriate.
